New edition in collaboration with adventurer Jimmy Chin in two different cases
Bremont watches are a remarkable example of affordable timepieces that seamlessly blend precision engineering with sporty design. While Bremont is renowned for creating pilot watches, such as the "Supermarine Full Ceramic," this time the brand has broadened its creative horizons through a partnership with its ambassador, world-renowned adventurer Jimmy Chin, to introduce today a unique skiing watch "Terra Nova Jimmy Chin Chronograph" ,Which came in two different versions in terms of colors and case material. This timepiece features advanced technical attributes, allowing skiing enthusiasts to accurately track their performance while fully immersing themselves in their adventures. This edition beautifully reflects Jimmy's passion for challenges and exploration, making it an ideal choice for outdoor sports lovers.
The watch comes in two case options: brushed and polished 18k rose gold or polished and brushed stainless steel 904L with 18k rose gold accents. Both versions feature a bidirectional rose gold bezel with ceramic inserts and compass markers, adding a unique touch to their design. The watch measures 42.5mm in diameter and is 14.8mm thick. The rose gold crown and chronograph pushers at 2, 4 o’clock seamlessly integrate into the overall aesthetic, while the sapphire crystal case back showcases a beautifully detailed image of the Teton Mountain Range and part of the movement. Protected by a domed, anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the watch is water resistant to 100 meters.
The watch features a black dial enhanced with rose gold subdials arranged in an inverted panda shape, with the 30-minute chronograph at 3 o’clock and the small seconds at 9 o’clock. This elegant design is complemented by polished gold numerals and hands, all coated with Super-LumiNova for visibility. A prominent red chronograph hand pays homage to Chen’s heritage, echoing the red elements found in his photographs. Additionally, the number 6 has been removed from the bottom of the dial and replaced by a date window, The edges of the dial feature a broken minute track, punctuated by luminescent indices, enhancing legibility in low-light conditions.
It's powered by a modified Calibre BE-50AV automatic movement. The movement includes a Glucydur balance wheel and an Anachron balance spring, ensuring optimal performance. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), it boasts a 56-hour power reserve, making it both efficient and dependable.
