The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Bell & Ross Introduced The BR-X5 Green Lum

A New Addition to the LUM collection with a fully luminescent case

In 2022, Bell & Ross introduced the BR-X5, which garnered attention for its distinctive and bold design. Now, at Dubai Watch Week 2023, the brand unveils the "BR-X5 Green Lume". This new iteration replaces the stainless steel case with a titanium case, coated with LM3D material developed exclusively for the brand. This unique material causes the entire case to glow in a vibrant green luminescence.

The BR-X5 Green Lume is encased in a 41mm x 12.80mm case crafted from Grade 2 microblasted titanium with a black DLC coating. However, what truly sets it apart is the use of LM3D material, a proprietary development for Bell & Ross. The case is further enhanced by upper and lower inserts made from green luminescent fiberglass composite transforming the entire case into a luminous spectacle, radiating a brilliant green glow. The case is surrounded by a fixed bezel in Grade 2 microblasted titanium, with a luminescent composite insert, adding to the watch's distinctive appearance. The sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures clear visibility of the dial, with s screw-down crown and guards maintain the watch's bold design. Flip it over, and you'll find a caseback in DLC-coated titanium, revealing a smoked sapphire crystal.

The matte black dial features applied hour markers and openworked hands, coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring readability even in the darkest of settings. The luminous track around the date window at 3 o’clock, and the power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock adds a touch of functionality to the timepiece, while the black flange features a 60-minute scale with green markings.

Powering the BR-X5 Green Lume is the BR‐CAL.323, an automatic movement that is chronometer certified by COSC. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers 70 hours of power reserve. The watch is paired with a Black openworked rubber strap with a DLC-coated steel folding clasp.

The Bell & Ross BR-X5 Green Lume is available as a limited edition of only 500 pieces, with a price of CHF 13,000, equivalent to AED 54,000.
