Louis Erard Collaborates with GoS on the Latest Edition of Le Régulateur

In December 2021, Louis Erard and GoS Watches were brought together by Manuel Emch, the visionary behind Louis Erard's strategic revival and creative transformation. He found a kindred spirit in Patrik Sjögren, watchmaker and founder of the Swedish atelier GoS, renowned for its mastery of Damascus steel.

Together, they envisioned a timepiece that would seamlessly blend the essence of both Maisons: the technical precision and aesthetic refinement of the Swiss Jura, married to the artistry of a Swedish forge, where Damascus steel is meticulously crafted into mesmerizing patterns through an almost alchemical process.

Introducing Baume & Mercier Unveils The Riviera Acier-Titane 10769

A robust and sporty timepiece with blue aesthetics

The Riviera is among Baume & Mercier's most iconic collections. Launched in 1973, the Riviera is known for its unique twelve-sided bezel and robust, stylish design, combining 70s elegance with modern aesthetics. Following the limited edition Riviera Perpetual Calendar, the brand introduces the Riviera Acier-Titane, featuring a blue dial that mirrors the depth of the sea.

The watch features a bi-color case made of sandblasted steel with a blue PVD coating, measuring 42 mm in diameter and 10.66 mm in thickness. Its name, “Acier-Titane,” is French for “Steel-Titanium,” indicating the beautiful mix of materials used in this watch. It comes with a sandblasted titanium dodecagonal bezel that is gray PVD treated, secured by four sandblasted steel screws, and linked to the caseband by a gold-tone PVD steel ring.

The dial showcases a smoky blue decorated sapphire disk that reveals glimpses of the date wheel that is indicated at 3 o’clock and some movement components at the center. It also features gold-colored hour and minute hands, along with indices and Roman numerals at 12 and 6 o'clock, all coated with white Super-LumiNova that emits a blue glow in low light.

The watch is powered by the BM13-1975A Caliber, a COSC-certified automatic movement that operates at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers 5 days (120 hours) of power reserve. It features a Côtes de Genève pattern on the rotor and perlage decoration on the movement. The watch comes with a blue rubber strap with a steel triple folding buckle and is priced at AED 17,600.
