A limited edition with a bronze alloy case and a beautiful blue dial
Founded in 1961 by German aircraft pilot Helmut Sinn, Sinn is renowned for its innovative approach to tool watches. The German brand has built its name on crafting highly functional timepieces, particularly in the fields of aviation, diving, and extreme environments. Sinn consistently pushes the boundaries of material science and technical reliability, developing technologies that enhance durability, water resistance, and anti-magnetic properties.
One of the brand’s most rugged collections is the T50, a series of professional-grade dive watches designed for extreme underwater conditions. In 2023, the brand introduced the first diver’s watches made from its patented Goldbronze 125. This year, Sinn expands the collection with the limited T50 GOLDBRONZE B, featuring a striking dark blue dial.
Goldbronze 125 is a special bronze alloy developed and patented by Sinn. Unlike regular bronze, which contains various additives, Goldbronze 125 has an exceptionally high purity level, with harmful elements like lead, cadmium, and nickel reduced to nearly undetectable levels. This makes it more skin-friendly and highly resistant to seawater corrosion. It also forms a patina over time but reacts less to environmental factors thanks to its 12.5% gold content. If desired, the patina can be removed using a special cleaning cloth, provided the oxidation is minimal.

The case measures 41mm in diameter and 12.3mm in thickness, making it a well-balanced choice for a professional diver’s watch. Constructed from Sinn’s patented Goldbronze 125, the case, bezel, and crown develop a patina over time but do so more gradually than traditional bronze due to the alloy’s high purity. To prevent direct contact with the wearer’s skin, the caseback is made from high-strength titanium, ensuring optimal comfort. The watch also features a unidirectional captive safety bezel with a luminous marker, requiring a press-and-turn mechanism to prevent accidental adjustments.

The watch features a screwed caseback and a screw-down crown positioned at 4 o’clock to prevent pressure on the back of the hand. It is water-resistant to an impressive 500 meters, making it a reliable tool for deep-sea diving. Additionally, it meets the European diving equipment standards EN 250 and EN 14143, reinforcing its credibility as a professional-grade dive watch.
The dark blue dial features large sword hands and indices coated with luminescence. The indices and hour hand emit a green glow, while the minute and second hands, along with the bezel’s key marker, glow blue. This color differentiation improves visibility in low-light and underwater environments. The dial also has a date display at 3 o’clock.
The watch is powered by the caliber SW 300-1, a Swiss-made automatic movement that operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 56-hour power reserve. The movement is also anti-magnetic per DIN 8309 standards. The watch is paired with a blue textile strap and is limited to 300 pieces at a price of €4,980, approximately AED 19,900.
