A limited edition with a distinctive green dial representing our beloved Emirates
Bremont, the British company founded in 2002 by brothers Nick and Giles English, embraces a philosophy of crafting watches inspired by aviation, engineering, and adventure. Dedicated to reviving Britain's rich watchmaking heritage, Bremont manufactures many of its own components, ensuring exceptional quality and craftsmanship. In a previous interview with CEO Davide Cerrato, we discussed the company’s approach and its exciting plans for the future.
Today, we explore a unique watch from Bremont, a special edition created exclusively for the UAE. This edition is available only through the country’s premier retailer, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, a leading name in the watch industry, renowned for its successful and fast-selling limited editions and collaborations.
Following the recent launch of the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph Endless Skyline UAE Edition, which we previously reviewed in detail in this article.
The watch features a green dial, symbolizing the growth, prosperity, greenery, and development of our beloved Emirates. The Bremont Supernova UAE Edition. This model is the British company's first sports watch with an integrated bracelet. By merging Bremont's robust and durable design with the spirit of sports watches, the result is the remarkable timepiece we have with us today.
The watch features a three-piece case design, with a lug and bezel at the topper parts, a middle case treated with black DLC, and a steel display caseback. The integrated bracelet enhances the watch’s elegant design, elevating it further with bold styling and sharp edges.
The Supernova measures 40mm in width, 11.1mm in thickness, and 53mm from lug to lug. Sized for a 7-inch wrist, the bracelet weighs 173 grams, and the watch offers a screw-down crown and 100 meters of water resistance.
As a special edition for the UAE, the dial comes in a vibrant green—the color symbolizing the nation. The flat dial features applied luminous Arabic numerals set into an outer ring, finished with circular graining. Surrounding this dial is a white minute track, proudly displaying "Made in England" at six o'clock. The numerals, hour markers, and hands all feature luminescent accents.
One standout detail is the big date complication at 3 o'clock, with two distinct wheels bisected by the transition between the inner and outer dials. Additionally, the power reserve indication is elegantly nestled within the center part of the dial at 6 o'clock.
Powering the watch is the automatic caliber ENG375, which beats at 3.5 Hz (25,200 vph) and offers 65 hours of power reserve. The movement is mounted within a rubber anti-shock mechanism, featuring a silicon escape wheel and tungsten winding rotor.
The Supernova watch comes with a distinctive bracelet with uniquely designed links. The bracelet tapers from 25.2mm at the lugs to 19.8mm at the push-button butterfly clasp.
This limited-edition watch, restricted to just 15 pieces, is priced at 37,100 AED. Bremont watches are available exclusively at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons in the United Arab Emirates.
