Regulating organ

Is a vital component composed of the balance wheel and the hairspring. The balance wheel, a rotating wheel, oscillates in a back-and-forth motion at a consistent rate. Working in tandem, the hairspring, a delicate spring, regulates and balances the movement of the balance wheel. By controlling the oscillation of the balance wheel, the hairspring ensures the watch's accuracy and stability. The regulating organ plays a critical role in maintaining the precise timekeeping and overall performance of a mechanical watch.
