Labradorite

A mineral belonging to the calcium-rich "feldspar" group, commonly found in igneous rocks. This mineral is known for its vibrant display of colors, which is a result of its internal fractures. This phenomenon, referred to as "labradorescence," gives the impression that the stone is playing with an array of colors as light reflects back and forth within it. Labradorite possesses a triclinic crystal system and has a hardness of 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale, making it relatively durable.
