The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

DuBois

Du Bois is a Swiss watch brand that claims to be the oldest watch factory in Switzerland, dating back to 1751. The brand was founded by Moise Du Bois, a textile trader who started to produce pocket watches in Le Locle. The company was later renamed to Philippe Du Bois & Fils in 1785, when his sons joined the business. The brand gained a reputation for its quality and innovation, exporting its watches to various markets, including the USA.

In 1910, Du Bois started to produce wrist watches, following the trend of the time. The brand focused on limited edition watches with a simple and elegant design, using Swiss movements and precious materials. The brand changed ownership several times, staying in the family until the mid-1980s, when it was sold to a German company. The brand then went through several periods of inactivity and revival, until it was acquired by Thomas Steinemann in 2010.

In 2012, Du Bois made history by launching a successful crowdinvesting campaign through its own website, raising 1.5 million Swiss francs from 587 investors from 21 countries. The brand also introduced a paperless shareholder relationship, using the internet as a platform for communication and transparency. In 2015, Du Bois celebrated its 230th anniversary and launched the Montre Anniversaire 230 ans model, a limited edition of 99 pieces. In 2016, Du Bois launched another innovative service, Rent Your Luxury Watch, which allows customers to rent a watch for a certain period of time.
