Introducing DWISS Unveils the Model A1
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
An elegant hue inspired by the original Ahoi release from 2013
Nomos has built its reputation on simple, Bauhaus-inspired design and mechanical in-house expertise. While the brand is best known for dressy models like the Tangente and Orion, it has also ventured into the sport category with the Ahoi collection, previously seen in vibrant editions like the Sky, Sand, and Atlantic.
Now, Nomos expands the Ahoi line with a new white silver galvanized dial version of the Neomatik 38 Date. The dial draws inspiration from the original 2013 Ahoi, offering a more neutral tone compared to previous variations.

Crafted from polished stainless steel, the watch measures 38.5 mm in diameter and 9.9 mm in thickness with the sapphire caseback (9.8 mm with the solid back). The domed sapphire crystal features a dual-sided anti-reflective coating, and the screw-down crown ensures 200 meters of water resistance. A subtle whale engraving on the caseback reinforces this aquatic capability. Buyers can choose between a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback or a solid steel alternative.
The white silver-plated dial echoes the inaugural Ahoi edition but introduces modern updates. It features black Arabic numerals, luminous rectangular indices, and a date window at 3 o’clock. A recessed small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock hosts a vivid red seconds hand, while the main hands are rhodium-plated with light blue Super-LumiNova inlays. At night, the lume emits a crisp green glow.
Powering the watch is the in-house DUW 6101, one of the brand’s standout ultra-thin automatic calibers, measuring just 3.6 mm thick. It beats at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and offers a 42-hour power reserve. The movement incorporates the NOMOS swing system, its proprietary escapement with a custom balance spring, and features a bidirectional quick-set date mechanism.
The watch comes fitted with a custom-woven blue-black textile strap made in France. Secured with a stainless steel winged clasp, the strap is water-resistant and easy to swap, thanks to drilled lug holes. For those who prefer a bracelet, a steel option is available separately.
It joins the collection as a permanent release, priced at EUR 3,720, approximately AED 16,100 for the closed caseback model and EUR 4,020, approximately AED 17,350 for the sapphire caseback version.
