Paying homage to the Radiomir prototype from 1935
Panerai watches are characterized by their distinctive design, known for its bold and robust features. The brand used to create watches for the Italian military, till early 1990s, when the brand started selling to the public, catering watch enthusiasts with their limited editions that are based on the iconic Luminor and Radiomir collections.
Last week, the Luminor collection received a new GMT function, which was noteworthy for featuring the smallest case size for this collection. Panerai’s latest release of this year, pays homage to the Radiomir prototype from 1935, unveiling a limited edition of 300 the “Panerai Radiomir Officine PAM01385”.
The case is Crafted polished stainless steel with 45mm in diameter, featuring the iconic cushion-shaped design. Topped by a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, and a cone-shaped winding crown, with the brand's "OP" logo. The closed case back ensures 100 meters of water resistance.
The beige, grainy sand-wich dial showcases oversized Arabic numerals along with hour and minute hands filled with Super-LumiNova. Just below the 12 o'clock position, you'll find the printed "Radiomir Panerai" logo. At 9 o'clock, a small running seconds sub-dial adds to the dial's functionality, and at 6 o'clock, you'll notice the "Swiss Made" signature.
The new Panerai Radiomir Officine PAM01385 is powered by the Caliber P.6000 manual winding movement, and Incabloc Shock Absorption. This movement operates at a frequency of 21,600vph (3 Hz), and it boasts 3 days of power reserve.

The watch is paired with a Scamosciato Dark Brown strap, with a polished stainless steel pin buckle, priced at CHF 5,130 which is equivalent to AED 21,000.
