Introducing New Longines HydroConquest GMT 43mm

Longines has etched its name in horological history with a legacy that goes back to 1832, the brand has consistently epitomized elegance, precision, and innovation in watchmaking. Among its collections, the HydroConquest stands out as one of the brand's iconic releases. This collection exemplifies Longines' dedication to both style and functionality, offering timepieces that blend aquatic prowess with refined aesthetics.

Following the introduction of the practical HydroConquest GMT last year in a 41mm case. Now, the brand launches a larger 43mm version of the HydroConquest GMT, available in a variety of dial colors including green, blue, and black.

The latest iteration of the HydroConquest GMT retains all the features of the 41mm version. However, the change lies in its diameter, as it has now expanded to 43mm. Despite the larger diameter, the watch still maintains a thickness of 12.90mm. Crafted from stainless steel, the Longines HydroConquest GMT 43mm boasts a combination of brushed and polished finishes. 

 Its unidirectional rotating bezel features a ceramic insert with a 60-minute diving scale, accentuated by luminous dots for enhanced visibility in underwater environments. The watch is equipped with a screw-down crown and caseback, ensuring water resistance up to 300 meters. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. 

The dial is available in green, black, or blue options, each adorned with a sunray finish, and a date window positioned at 3 o’clock. The two-tone 24-hour scale on the flange that indicates the day and night, is indicated by an arrow-tipped GMT hand enhanced with Super-LumiNova. The hands and indices are also coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring clear legibility even in low-light conditions.

This release is powered by the caliber L844.5, an automatic movement by ETA exclusively to Longines. It operates at 25,200 vph (3.5Hz) and offers 72 hours of power reserve. These timepieces are paired with a steel bracelet with double-safety folding clasp and micro adjustment, including a rubber strap option for the black and blue models.

The Longines HydroConquest GMT will be offered at a price of CHF 2,600, equivalent to AED 10,700 for the rubber strap option, and CHF 2,800 which is equivalent to AED 11,500 for the steel bracelet variant.
