A beautiful classic chronograph with a gradient green and brown dial
Longines has long been celebrated for its pioneering contributions to aviation timepieces. The brand's legacy in crafting pilot watches dates back to the early 20th century. Last year, Longines marked a significant milestone by introducing its first titanium watch in the Spirit Flyback collection, which originally launched four years ago. This move was followed by the recent release of a titanium variant for the 39mm Zulu edition.
Building on this tradition of innovation, Longines is now expanding the Spirit Flyback collection with two new editions featuring stainless steel and luxurious 18k gold accents. Both models come in steel cases, with the first edition showcasing 18k yellow gold pushers, crown, and bezel, while the second edition is adorned with 18k rose gold. The difference lies in the dial as the yellow gold version features a green gradient dial, while the rose gold variant boasts an elegant brown dial.

Just like the first titanium variant, both watches measure 42mm in diameter and 17mm in thickness. They feature a 60-minute bi-directional rotating bezel with either a green or blue ceramic insert, a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protecting the dial, and a sapphire crystal caseback.
As mentioned earlier, the dials come in either green or brown hue, with the green being a favorite for its vibrant contrast with the gold accents on the case. The dials feature a bicompax layout with yellow or rose gold-plated hands, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock.

The watch is powered by the Caliber L791, an automatic COSC-certified movement that operates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 68-hour power reserve. Both watches are paired with either a brown or green leather strap with a double folding clasp and are priced at USD 6,500, which is equivalent to AED 24,000.
