Diamonds and gemstones adorn the brand’s smallest release with a skeletonized movement
Franck Muller is known for its distinctive tonneau-shaped cases, bold numerals, and remarkable mechanical complexities. Yet, the brand also stepped into the realm of fine jewelry, where timepieces transcend functionality to become dazzling works of art. This mastery finds its latest expression in the Round Skeleton Baguette 31mm, a new addition to Franck Muller's Round Skeletons collection, exclusively for the Asia Pacific market. The collection’s newest offering is a milestone, the smallest-ever skeletonized movement in Franck Muller's repertoire.
The case, available in white and rose gold, measures 30.5mm × 9.85mm and is adorned with meticulously hand-set baguette diamonds or precious gemstones using the channel-setting technique, which secures the stones without the need for prongs. The diamonds are held in place between rails of metal, creating a seamless and continuous line of brilliance.
This launch expands upon the 39mm and 42mm Round Skeleton variants, introducing a more delicate dimension while retaining the collection’s bold statement of artistry. The collection features variants with diamonds, rainbow settings, rubies, blue sapphires, and emeralds, adorning the bezel, case sides, and crown.
The openworked skeletonized dial showcases the manual-winding MVT FM 1540-RS movement, comprising 137 components and offering an impressive 4-day power reserve. Each watch is paired with an alligator leather strap, with pricing available upon request.
