A Permanent Métiers d'Art Model with a Dial that Embodies Watchmaking Traditions
Louis Erard introduces Le Régulateur Gravé, a permanent addition to its Noirmont Métiers d'Art line, a piece that reimagines the sector dial with intricate traditional engraving. By presenting this non-limited model, Louis Erard further defines its distinct identity, marked by daring creativity and a respect for horological heritage, all while upholding the independent ethos that has guided the brand since its inception.
In reinforcing its vision, Louis Erard has organized its offerings into two main collections: Noirmont, which replaces the Excellence line, and the 2300 series, succeeding La Sportive. The Noirmont collection is built on three core pillars: the classic Noirmont, the artisanal Noirmont Métiers d'Art, and Noirmont X, a series dedicated to collaborations. Central to the Métiers d’Art line, the Régulateur Gravé joins the permanent collection, representing a significant milestone for the brand.
This timepiece showcases the iconic Régulateur design with a vertical display of indicators, reinterpreting the sector dial aesthetic of the 1930s. With the addition of traditional engraving, Louis Erard honors watchmaking as an art form.
Housed in a polished stainless steel case composed of three pieces, measuring 39 mm in diameter, with a lug-to-lug distance of 45.90 mm, and a thickness of 12.82 mm, creating an elegant profile on the wrist. It features a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, a transparent caseback that reveals the movement, and water resistance of up to 50 meters. The case also has a signature fir tree crown.
The watch features the signature design of the Régulateur with a vertical display of time indicators. with 5N rose gilt details. Its black dial with a fine-grained finish, complemented by fir tree hands and minimalist indicators.
The dial features hour and seconds counters at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions, with the central hand indicating the minutes. All the hands are crafted from gilded steel with the iconic fir tree design.
The watch is powered by the Sellita SW266-1 caliber, an automatic regulator movement operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), offering a power reserve of 38 hours. The movement is elegantly decorated and includes a specially designed openworked oscillating weight.
This watch comes with a beige grained calf leather strap featuring tone-on-tone stitching, a black grained calf leather lining, and a quick strap-change system, secured with a polished stainless steel pin buckle. The timepiece will join the permanent line, priced at CHF 2,900 which is equivalent to 12,300 AED.
