Introducing Gaga Laboratorio Debuts with the Cinquanta and Bauhaus Editions

Vibrant Dials Infused with Italian Design Inspiration

Founded in 2024, Gagà Laboratorio is an innovative extension of the prestigious Italian watch brand Gagà Milano, which was established by Ruben Tuomela in 2020. Leveraging the expertise of Manufacture Gagà SA, a Swiss company that has been producing high-end watches for Gagà Milano since 2012, Gagà Laboratorio aims to reconcile Italian design excellence with Swiss precision, distinguishing itself as a laboratory dedicated to innovative and creative mechanical designs. Tomella, in collaboration with his friend and renowned tattoo artist Mo Coppoletta, is venturing into this exciting realm with the Labormatic Cinquanta and Bauhaus collections, where artistry meets mechanical ingenuity. We are pleased to present the inaugural collections of the Italian brand Labormatic, which feature two distinctive editions, the Cinquanta and the Bauhaus watches. Both editions draw inspiration from the stylistic lines and atmospheres that characterized Italian design in the post-World War II era.

The Labormatic Cinquanta and Bauhaus watches both feature a 42mm diameter and a thickness of 13.3mm, showcasing double-curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a see-through sapphire caseback. However, the Bauhaus edition stands out with its black PVD coating on certain sections, adding a modern twist to its classic design. Both models include a crown positioned at 12 o'clock with a steel cabochon, while the brushed and polished stainless steel case provides a refined finish, embodying this watches philosophy of merging functionality with aesthetic appeal.

The dial design beautifully blends modernity and elegance. The Bauhaus version features a black domed surface, while the Cinquanta showcases a green domed surface. Both versions display the hours digitally through a window at 12 o’clock. The Cinquanta includes a minute dial with printed numerals and indices that indicate the current time via a moving window, whereas the Bauhaus model has a red-tipped hand that functions like a traditional minute hand, indicating the time on a dial with printed white indices. Additionally, both versions feature a central seconds disc, with the Bauhaus logo in black and white and the Cinquanta logo in gold and white.

Both versions are powered by the La Joux-Perret automatic movement, caliber LJP G100, which boasts a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and a power reserve of 68 hours. This movement features a partially openworked bespoke Gagà Laboratorio rotor. showcasing intricate Côtes de Genève lines that add a touch of elegance and sophistication on the movement board under the rotor.

Both versions come with a handcrafted Saffiano leather strap and a stainless steel pin buckle, at price CHF 3,900 which is equivalent to AED 17,160.
