Christopher Ward is a British company founded by Mike France, Chris Ward, and Peter Ellis in 2004. The company is renowned for its modern designs, often incorporating Swiss movements into its timepieces, ranging from dive watches and pilot’s watches to more classic styles. One of its notable achievements is the development of the SH21 movement—a proprietary in-house calibre that Launched in 2014, the SH21 was the first mechanical movement from a British watch company in 50 years; this movement has been featured in several of their watches, including the TwelveX Titanium. Today, Christopher Ward introduces a new addition to the Trident collection: the C60 Trident Lumière in its three colours.
This dive watch features a 41mm case crafted from Grade 2 titanium. With a thickness of just 10.85mm, while the lug-to-lug measurement is 47.9mm. It offers water resistance up to 300 meters and includes a helium escape valve to protect against damage during deep dives. The watch also boasts an anti-reflective sapphire crystal on the dial and case back, an embossed screw-down crown with crown guards, and unidirectional 120-click titanium bezel with a blue ceramic insert for the blue dial version, and black ceramic inserts for the black and orange dials. The bezel's numerals are illuminated for enhanced visibility in darkness.

The dial comes in three colors: blue, black, and orange, The colors of these dials are graded to darker on the edges. The applied indexes, along with the hour, minute, and second hands, which are spear-shaped, as well as the company’s logo positioned above the three-dimensional central hands, are crafted from Globolight—a ceramic-based material infused with Super-LumiNova. This combination makes it brighter than regular Super-LumiNova when coated, and the dial is surrounded by a white minute track.
The Lumière is powered by the COSC-certified Sellita SW300-1 automatic movement, which was launched in 2008. This movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and provides a 56-hour power reserve. The movement has an intricately decorated rotor visible through the transparent case back and has an accuracy of -4/+6 seconds per day.
The watch comes with a Grade 2 titanium bracelet with a folding buckle at a price of USD 3,305 equivalent to AED 12,130 or an Aquaflex rubber strap in multiple colours (blue or orange and blue) at a price of USD 2,750 equivalent to AED 10,100.
